First things first, if you haven’t already, go to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and install the VN video editor. Once installed, open the app and you’ll see a clean, beginner-friendly interface.
Step 2: Download the Viral Troll Face Emojis
I’ve linked the trending Troll Face emoji PNG in the description (no password required). These are the exact assets used in viral edits. You can easily download them from Google Drive or any cloud link provided.

Step 3: Create a New Project
Inside the VN app, tap the “+” icon and then “New Project”. Choose the video you want to edit — for this tutorial, I used a scene from the popular Thomas Shelby fight sequence. Once selected, tap “Next” to begin editing.
Step 4: Identify the Key Edit Moment
Watch your video and decide where you want to insert the Troll Face. For instance, if there’s a dramatic or funny moment — like someone getting hit or reacting unexpectedly — that’s the perfect spot.
Pause at that frame, then scroll to the end of the toolbar and tap “Freeze Frame”. This will create a still image of that frame, allowing you to overlay your Troll Face emoji later.
Step 5: Trim and Tweak the Clip
If necessary, trim the beginning or end of your video to focus attention on the edit. VN lets you easily cut or delete clips by selecting and tapping the trash icon.
Step 6: Add Troll Music

Select your preferred sound and hit “Use” → then “Done.” Now the beat sync is crucial.

For a cinematic look, go to “Filter” → “Adjust” and play with these settings:

- Temperature: -10 for cool tones or +10 for warm tones
